Kids Against Hungry Fremont Chapter is a non-profit humanitarian organization run entirely by unpaid volunteers. Our mission is threefold:
1) Plant the seed of compassion by teaching students about the importance of kindness and compassion
2) Love through action by bringing meal-packing events into the schools and supporting students in packing thousands of meals
3) Feed the hungry by distributing packaged meals via partnerships with humanitarian organizations
Our meals are supporting our local community, Haiti school feeding program, Ukraine refugees and more. Since our inception, KAH Fremont has enabled Fremont students and volunteers to pack over 850,000 meals. Our goal is to deliver compassion education and empower all 35,000+ students in Fremont to give back and experience the joy of giving.

OCTOBER 25: PTA TRUNK OR TREAT
We are officially in October so that means Trunk or Treat is right around the corner! This yearly FREE event for our Brookvale families and community is one that we look forward to. Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, October 25th from 5:30 – 7:00 PM in the school parking lot. If you would like to decorate your vehicle and hand out candy/treats to the kids, please sign up. This year, we will have a contest and everyone will have a chance to vote for their favorite trunk. The top 3 trunks that receive the most votes will win a prize. We would love to have between 20-25 decorated vehicles so come join the fun. PTA will supply each vehicle with candy, but please make sure to have a bag or 2 of treats on hand as well.
We will also be looking for candy and treats (pencils, erasers, fun trinkets, etc) donations. We all know how fast these kids trick or treat so we would love to make sure we have plenty of treats on hand. A bin will be placed in the front office starting next week so please feel free to stop by to feed the bin with your donations. If there are families that are able to reach out to grocery stores or any place willing to donate candy to us, we would GREATLY appreciate the help.
We look forward to seeing you there!
