2024 Classified Employees of the Year

This is Classified School Employee Week, and Fremont Unified appreciates each of our dedicated classified employees! These employees – including custodians; library media technicians; Transportation staff; paraeducators; office administrative staff; Child Nutrition Services professionals; the Facilities and Construction team; Technology staff; classified managers; staff in Maintenance, Operations and Grounds; and many other important positions – are dedicated, highly skilled, and vital to the success of our students.

The Board celebrated the following Classified Employees of the Year at this week’s meeting: Stephanie Cabral, Special Education Paraeducator 2, Chadbourne Elementary School; Margaret "Anne" Damron, School Secretary, Oliveira Elementary; Chris Gonzales, Custodian 1, Maloney Elementary School; Sonja Loob, School Registrar, Hopkins Middle School; Teng Sam, Lead IT Support Specialist, Kennedy High School; Geeta Srinivas, Special Education Paraeducator 1, Parkmont Elementary School. Mrs. Damron was selected as a 2024 Alameda County Classified Employee of the Year in the Clerical and Administrative Services category!
