Michelle Tibbs Principal of Durham Elementary

Ms. Tibbs brings 30 years of experience in Fremont Unified, including 26 years as a classroom teacher and the last 3 years as an assistant principal at Walters Middle School. She has a proven track record of fostering positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous environments while supporting both students and staff.

Her leadership, dedication to student success, and commitment to strong partnerships with families will be a tremendous asset to the Durham community.

Principal Tibbs will officially start Monday, September 29, 2025.
