Good Attendance = Growth and Learning
Great News! FUSD's Average Daily Attendance (ADA) increased from 95.4% last year to 96.4% for our recent State attendance report! Not only does this help to increase the funding we receive, but it is supports the learning that our students are making because they are coming to school more! Durham needs your help in continuing to make sure our students come to school at a high rate for the remainder of the year so that our students can learn and thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally. Sign up by January 13, 2025 using thisGoogle Form. NO SIGN UPS WILL BE RECEIVED AFTER 1/13/2025. Students have the option to work individually or in groups of two or three students. If your student chooses to work in a group of two or three students, please fill out this Google Form ONLY once by only ONE parent.
Durham Families, please come and join us at our 2nd Community Coffee Chat on Friday, January 17th at 8:30 in the MUR. Please be sure to sign in at the office to get your "Visitor" sticker and then head on over for some coffee and light snacks. Topics for this meeting: Attendance and update to safety recommendations from the City.

It seems like we are all readjusting to being back to school after two weeks off. Please review the loop flow map and try to leave your house just a few minutes earlier so that your student arrives to school on time.
