Forest Park PTA is happy to announce the winner of the Golden sneaker contest 2026
The winning classroom is Mrs. Munro's room 402. 
The runner-up classroom is Mrs.Ledesma's room 408.

Traffic Safety Rules

🚗 Drive Safely Around Forest Park! 🚗
 Keeping Our Students & Community Safe
✅ Use Crosswalks – Students should always cross the street safely at designated crosswalks.
 🚫 No Double Parking – Do not stop in the middle of the street to drop off or pick up students.
 🚗 Respect Driveways – Please do not block neighbors' driveways when parking.
 ⚠️ Drop Off Safely – Only drop off students at the curb in designated parking areas, not in non-parking zones.
 🚦 Follow Traffic Laws – Slow down, stay alert, and be mindful of students walking near the school.

Buy it. Fit it. Wear it. EVERY RIDE! The Proper Helmet Fit

Helmets come in various sizes, just like hats. Size can vary between manufacturers. Follow the steps to fit a helmet properly. It may take time to ensure a proper helmet fit, but your life is worth it. It’s usually
easier to look in the mirror or have someone else adjust the straps. For the most comprehensive list of helmet sizes according to manufacturers, go the Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute (BHSI) Web site at: www.bhsi.org/.

State Testing Dates

CAASPP (ELA & Math): April 13 – May 15
5th Grade Science (CAST): April 15 – 17
Please note: Testing cannot occur before or after these state-required windows. Contact your child’s teacher for specific classroom testing dates/times.
ELPAC (English Learners K–5): Testing takes place during March and April.
Thank you for supporting your child by ensuring they are well-rested and present during testing days!
