❤️ The Science of Kindness: Why It Matters at Forest Park

Over the past three weeks, our Forest Park students participated in our Kindness Challenge, helping to spread peace, compassion, and positivity across campus. From earning hearts to completing weekly challenges, students showed that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.
But did you know… kindness is actually backed by science?
 Kindness Changes the Brain
Research shows that when we practice kindness, our brains release chemicals like dopamineoxytocin, and serotonin— sometimes called the “feel-good” chemicals. These help:
  • Reduce stress
  • Increase happiness
  • Strengthen relationships
  • Improve focus and learning
In other words, kindness doesn’t just feel good — it helps our brains grow and function better!

Forest Park Educator of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Condio-Hernandez the Forest Park Educator of the Year. Join us in celebrating her on March 25 at the FUSD Board of Education Meeting.

REMINDER !!!!!!!! 2025-2026 RESERVATION FORMS

On February 3, 2025 the district office e-mailed home the annual District Reservation Form to all current students via Informed K12. This form serves two purposes. It tells the school where you intend your child to go to school for 2025-2026 and fulfills the District’s mandated annual residency verification. The deadline to return reservation forms was Friday, February 28, 2025. We will not be handing out the forms in the office; you must respond to the email. If you do not complete this form, your child will not be placed on a class list for next fall. If you have moved please be sure to provide the office with new residency documentation so that we may update our records.

All items remaining in the bins on March 12 at 12:00 PM will be donated.
We encourage families to label clothing and personal belongings to help us return items quickly.

School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

Federal and state laws require school districts to make accountability reports available to the public online. Accountability report information is based on data and information from the previous year. Dates will run one year behind.

We are pleased to inform you that our district's School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs) are available in English, Spanish, and/or Chinese, as required. You may view the SARCs on the Fremont Unified School District web site at https://fremontunified.org/resources/reports/.

For more information about SARC requirements, see the California Department of Education (CDE) SARC web page at https://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/ac/sa/.
