Walk of the Wolverines - Thank You, Forest Park Families!

On behalf of all our students and staff, thank you for your incredible support of our Walk of the Wolverines fundraiser!
Your generosity helps us make Forest Park even stronger. The funds raised go directly back to classrooms to support enrichment activities, hands-on learning, and special projects that inspire our students. In addition, your contributions allow us to provide school-wide events and resources that bring our community together and enhance learning for all.
We are so grateful for your continued partnership in making Forest Park a place where every student can thrive!

*****Absence Reporting*****

All absences need to be reported to the school office before 9:30 a.m. on the day of the absence. Informing the teacher does not always guarantee it will make it to the office. Many teachers do not have time to check emails during their teaching day. Please be sure to leave the reason for the absence on the absence recorder.
Extended Absences/Independent Study
You may request an Independent Study contract if you plan to mis 5-10 school days. You will receive all school work for those days. The parent must notify the school administrator of intentions to go on a trip or to be absent for other non-medical reasons at least ten (10) school days prior to the absence. Thirty (30) days is preferable to allow for the work to be prepared.
If you choose to remove your child from school without an Independent Study contract, these absences will be counted as unexcused/ truancies and you will be receiving a truancy letter. You will not receive any school work to take with you. Additionally, if your student misses more than ten (10) consecutive school days, they will be dropped from the roster and will need to be re-registered upon return, which may mean he/she will be overloaded to another school.

Rainy Day Procedures

RAINY DAY ARRIVAL:  Arrival time 8:05 as we do not have supervision until 8:05
  • All students should go to their assigned courtyards, hallways or outside their rooms and line up underneath the eaves to stay dry.
  • All students should be reminded to carefully walk through the hallways and around the campus when it is wet so as not to slip.
  • For safety, please remember to close umbrellas before coming into the buildings.
