More than ever, we need to get students reading. Studies prove* that children with more books at
home have higher-level reading skills, and attain more years of education overall.
Lastly, this is a great opportunity to be a Book Fair volunteer! When you give your time, it helps make
our Fair an unforgettable reading experience where every purchase benefits our school directly. To

WOW

2025 Walk of the Wolverines Annual Fundraiser Friday, October 17, 2025

Our goal is to raise $45,000 with 70% going directly back to classrooms and 30% being used on school-wide projects. This amount would allow our teachers and school to continue to: (partial list)continue to develop our makerspace, support educational assemblies and workshops, purchase library books, provide in-house field trips and presentations, update emergency supplies, acquire core literature book sets, buy art supplies, purchase technology such as projectors and document cameras, and purchase additional outdoor equipment.
“The ask/goal” for this year, to provide the proposed programs and supplies, is a donation of $100 PER STUDENT
Let’s crush that goal and continue to make Forest Park one of the top schools in all of Fremont.
HOW TO DONATE:  Each student will have a personalized pledge page (check your email- around Oct 13) from 99Pledges that will be used for the collection of donations. This link is unique to each student and can be shared with anyone you wish- family and friends. You can even post on your social media pages! This will be coming out soon!
Volunteers Needed
We cannot do this without you!

HALLOWEEN and UN DAY PARADE

Our annual Halloween Walk About will be Friday, October 31, at 9:00am for grades K-5. UN Day Parade and assembly will be Friday, Nov. 7, at 9:00 am for grades K-5
Families are welcome to view each of these events- we just remind you to remain on the sidewalks and not come directly on to the campus.
Halloween: Please remember that the regular dress code applies to costumes. Children must be able to change into and out of their own costumes without assistance, school staff cannot assist. Weapons or other dangerous props should not be brought to school. Please be reminded we will still be conducting instruction during the remainder of the day. Your child may want to wear regular clothes under their costume so they can remove their costume for the remainder of the day.
We will not be responsible for lost costumes at school. It is best to leave extra props at home.
