Birthdays/Special Occasions – No food or treats at school please!

Grimmer Elementary School does not allow food or treats to be brought into the school setting for birthday recognitions or special celebrations. Due to health concerns, food allergies, and medical conditions related to food, we are asking that IF you wish to celebrate your child’s birthday at school that you provide a small, non-food item of your choice. Acceptable items could be a sticker, pencil or a goody bag as long as no food items are included. Please know that this is voluntary and not expected. Any arrangements need to be approved by the child’s teacher beforehand and cleared by the child’s teacher. Please work directly with your child’s teacher.
