Extended Day Kindergarten in 2023-24
We are pleased to announce that the Fremont Unified School District will offer our students and families extended day kindergarten starting in the 2023-24 school year.
Extended day kindergarten is beneficial for our students and our community; this increased instructional time allows our outstanding educators to further support the development of each student’s academic and social skills, and the extended day streamlines schedules for many of our families.
The kindergarten start time will match, or align within 15 minutes, to the grade 1-5 schedule at each elementary school.
Also starting in the 2023-24 school year, each elementary school will offer expanded day care to serve students and families after school hours.
