Dear Fremont Unified Community,
This week we presented our State of the District updates and celebrated Fremont Unified’s 60th anniversary of serving students and our community. I thank everyone who helped celebrate, including our Board Trustees, Fremont Mayor Lily Mei and all City Councilmembers, and many local leaders. A recording of the event and presentation slides are available if you would like to see the history, recent accomplishments, and considerations for the future we shared.Â
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this community, and I will do my best to uphold the distinguished level of service Fremont Unified has provided for 60 years, and your feedback is critical to our continued success. To that end, our State of the District survey is open now through February 11, and we invite you to provide your feedback via ThoughtExchange about what you value most about Fremont Unified, and how we can better prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.Â
In other recent news, Fremont Unified celebrated the 100th day of school on January 29, many of our schools participated in Great Kindness Challenge activities last week, and our sites are continuing to provide amazing opportunities for students.
Thank you for your continued support of our students, staff and schools.
Sincerely,
CJ Cammack Superintendent

Community Liaison Support
Fremont Unified’s Community Liaisons act as a bridge between staff, families, community, and the District. The multilingual Liaisons provide one-on-one support to families to help them connect to the resources they need.
Information on transitional kindergarten (TK), kindergarten, sibling priority and other new student enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is now available at fremontunified.org/enroll.Â
Eligibility for transitional kindergarten is expanding: Children who will be 5 years old between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025 can enroll in this free program for 2024-25 to get a head start in school and build their social, communication and independence skills.
If your student is currently attending an FUSD school in grades TK-11, there is no need to re-enroll.
ParentSquare Resources
All Fremont Unified schools and parents/guardians are able to use ParentSquare for home-to-school communications. Find links for training and help videos, app downloads and answers to frequently asked questions at fremontunified.org/logins.
