Dear Fremont Unified Community,
Fremont Unified schools have been busy hosting events marking Lunar New Year, Black History Month, Valentine’s Day, multicultural awareness, and more. I thank the many students, staff and volunteers who work to provide our students opportunities to learn about and celebrate our community’s rich and varied histories and cultures.Â
On another celebratory note, I am pleased to announce that Fremont Unified is home to six leaders recognized by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 6 as 2024 Administrators of the Year! This is an astounding number to be recognized from one district, and it speaks volumes to the caliber of leaders I am honored to stand beside.Â
Our ACSA Region 6 Administrators of the Year, listed along with their award category:
Superintendent CJ Cammack, SuperintendentÂ
Director of Elementary Education Robin Sehrt, Central Office Administrator
Robertson High School/Vista Principal Salvador Herrera, Continuation/Ed Options Administrator
Oliveira Elementary Principal Linda Anderson, Elementary Principal
Horner Middle School Assistant Principal Harry Pabley, Secondary Co-Administrator
Fremont Adult and Continuing Education Assistant Principal Jacklynn Sprague, Ed.D., Adult Education Administrator
I am also happy to see two of our educational partners recognized:
Mission Valley ROP Superintendent Thomas Hanson, Career Technical Administrator
Mission Valley SELPA Director Sarah Kappler, Special Education Administrator
I congratulate my fellow honorees, and I look forward to representing Region 6 with them as we are considered for state ACSA awards.Â
Thank you for your continued support of our students, staff and schools.
Sincerely,
CJ Cammack Superintendent
