Awards for Students at Horner 2023-2024

Honor Roll Awards Each Semester for Grades 6-8

Honor Roll Award - 3.80-4.0 GPA for Semester 1 and Quarter 3

Students earning a 3.80-4.0 GPA for Semester 1 and Quarter 3 will earn this award. All awards will be stored and handed out at the end of the year to students.

President's Award for End of School Year for Grades 6-8

President's Award - 4.0 GPA for both Semester 1 and Quarter 3 (end of the year award)

Achievement Award - Grades 6-8  Presented (end of the year award)

This award is given to students in Grades 6-8 and students are selected by teachers using a variety of criteria. The criteria could range from excellence in grades to perseverance during the school year and making improvements as a student at Horner. There is no established criteria for this award as it is teacher driven. Teachers who teach yearlong classes will select 2 students each and teachers who teach semester classes will select 4 students each.
