Union Sanitary District Work on Blacow Road: Scheduled for Completion Before School Begins

The Union Sanitary District is beginning construction work next week on their Sanitary Sewer Pipeline Rehabilitation Program for locations in the Irvington and South Fremont areas. This work will temporarily affect traffic operations along Blacow Road near Irvington High School.
The work is planned to start on July 25. Fremont Public Works is assisting in accelerating this work in order for it to be completed before school starts on August 17, and ensure that the construction does not impact school operations.
The traffic impacts nearest Irvington High School will affect the length of the left turn lanes on Blacow Road at Grimmer (westbound to southbound).
