Welcome to Maloney

Hello Maloney Family,
I must first start by saying how proud I am to have been part of the Maloney Elementary School Community for the past ten years. I joined the Maloney Family via Newark, where I was a Special Education Resource Specialist for 4 years, and a a principal for one year. Prior to moving to California, I lived on the island of Oahu working at Pearl City High School as a Special Education Teacher. I grew up, went to high school, and taught middle school mathematics in Cheektowaga, New York (near Buffalo, GO BILLS!). This wealth of experience over my 24 years in education, and having the amazing opportunity to teach at every grade level as both a  General Education and Special Education Teacher creates an opportunity to support both a students, parents, and staff. This diversity of experience also gives me excellent insight when it comes to support the learning of all students.

My main goal and purpose as school principal is to foster a love for school and education. I know if we create avenues for students to be successful, it will create a positive outcome. Students who love school want to learn, want to attend, and continue on in the future to be very successful. This I observe firsthand as our former Bulldogs return after graduation to share all the wonderful opportunities their futures hold.
