Talent Show Auditions – Due March 2

The MSJE 2025 Talent Show will be on Friday, April 11, 2025.  The Talent Show assemblies will be held during the school day. All students and the parents of performers are invited to attend.

Talent Show Tryouts for 1st – 5th Grade Students: 

Please note that not all students who audition for the talent show will be selected to perform at the talent show assemblies. Students interested in auditioning for the talent show must submit a Pre-recorded Talent Show Audition (https://tinyurl.com/MSJETalent-2025). A recorded audition must be linked. This form must be submitted by Sunday, March 2 – no exceptions. (This due date has been extended – originally 2/28). Any student who is interested in being the talent show emcee/announcer should contact Mr. Lee.

Call Backs:

In-person call backs will occur during lunchtime and/or after school from March 3-7 for select students. Students will be notified if they are requested for an in-person call back.

Selected Performers:

All selected performers (and their parents) will be notified on March 14.

Rehearsals:

Selected performers must be able to attend the following after-school (2:50 – 4:30 PM) rehearsals in the multi-use room:

• March 18, 2025 (performers in grades 1-3)

• March 24, 2025 (performers in grades 4-5)

• April 2, 2025 (performers in grades 1-3)

• April 3, 2025 (performers in grades 4-5)

• April 8, 2025 (performers in grades 1-3)

• April 9, 2025 (performers in grades 4-5)

Talent Show Guidelines:

• All performances must be 3 minutes or less.

• Performances can be solo or small group (no more than 5 in a group – same grade-level assembly)

• Performances must be school-appropriate and aligned with school rules and behavior expectations.

• All materials used for performances must be brought to school and managed by performing students. MSJE is not responsible for items brought to school.
