2026 5th Grade Science Camp Information

Hello MSJE 5th Grade Parents/Guardians,

We are thrilled to be sending our 5th graders to Mission Springs Outdoor Education Science Camp February 17-20, 2026.

MSJE depends on the generous support of parents/guardians to make science camp possible. 

• CHAPERONES: We will be welcoming parent chaperones to join us (please indicate your interest in the survey below.) The primary role of parent chaperones is to supervise students, day and night. All chaperones must be physically able to hike and participate in all camp activities. All chaperones will need to be fingerprinted and must provide TB clearance. For more detailed information, please see the Mission Springs Chaperone Information Page. In the event that we have more than enough chaperone interest, a lottery will be held to determine chaperones. Selected chaperones will be notified by December 12, 2025.
  
  

• DONATIONS: This year, we will also be asking for donations of $390.00 per student. Donations cover the cost for science camp lodging, food, and transportation.

Permission slips and donation collection information will be sent home with students on December 12 and are due by January 9, 2026.
