Welcome to a New Year of Science Learning!
August 18, 2025
Sending on behalf of Mrs. Priya Aggarwal…
Dear Families,
I’m so excited to welcome you and your child to a new school year in Science Wonder Lab – where Curiosity turns into Discovery! My name is Mrs. Priya Aggarwal, and I will be your child’s Science teacher this year. I’m looking forward to working together to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and make meaningful connections between science and the world around us.
In our class, we’ll explore topics that help students see how science shapes our daily lives, from understanding natural phenomena to discovering how people across different cultures have contributed to scientific knowledge throughout history. My goal is to create a classroom that is inclusive, engaging, and respectful of everyone’s ideas, where students feel safe asking questions and sharing their own perspectives.
I believe that learning is most powerful when home, school, and the wider community work together. That’s why I would love to invite you to be part of our learning journey this year! Volunteers are always welcome, whether it’s helping with activities, supporting projects, or sharing special expertise.
In particular, I’m looking for guest speakers who can share cultural traditions, stories, or historical examples that show the importance of science in your culture. These real-world connections make science come alive for students and help them appreciate the richness of our diverse community. If you are interested in volunteering or being a guest speaker, please email me. I would be happy to coordinate a date and time that works for you.
Thank you for your support. I’m looking forward to an exciting and inspiring year of learning together!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Priya Aggarwal, Science Teacher MSJE
