School Site Council / English Learner Advisory Committee
The School Site Council (SSC) assist with the development of a comprehensive Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) based on student data and recommend the SPSA to the local school board. The SSC works with the principal and staff representatives to ensure that the school is engaged in identifying and implementing curricular and instructional practices that lead to school improvement as well as for the allocation of resources to support those efforts. Together we develop a budget aligned to the regulations of how those funds need to be spent based on the needs of students to close the achievement gap. Our SSC meetings are generally held evenings a few times throughout the year. If you would like to join our meetings, please contact the office.
