Bike to the Moon @ Gomes

The results for the Bike to the Moon event are here. We are happy to report that students from across Alameda County biked, walked, rolled and took transit all the way to the moon… and then some. 

Thank you to all those who participated! 

• Collectively, we traveled  310,374 moon miles.  We surpassed the moon, which is 238,900 miles away from Earth.   
• Participants from 43 schools logged their miles on our Bike to the Moon Week tracker 
• This represents over 900 individual moon mile entries
