2022 Athletics update:

We will be going digital with ticketing this year.  We are working with GoFan to sell tickets.  When you go to our Kennedy page for GoFan, you can see and purchase any of the tickets for this years sport season.  Some of our opposing school will also be using GoFan.  You will see those on the schedule as well.  If you do not see a particular game, that means the opposing school is not using GoFan and they will be selling tickets at a cashbox.  I have included the link for the Kennedy GoFan Page:

Student Sign-ups- We will be utilizing athleticclearance.com again this year for student signups.  If students are returning, they just must change the school year.  If a student is not on this site, they will have to register and create an account.  The dates for signing up for each season are as follows:

Fall Sports- Deadline for paperwork submission is Friday August 25, 2022

Winter Sports- Deadline for paperwork submission is Friday October 28, 2022

Spring Sports- Deadline for paperwork submission is Friday January 27, 2022

Athletic Department Mission

It is the John F. Kennedy Athletic Department’s mission to be determined to instill strong academic values in all of our student-athletes while providing a safe and challenging athletic experience.  We understand the diversity in schools and will ensure that student-athletes develop not only internally as a better citizens, but also externally by developing the required athletic skills for team and personal success.

John F. Kennedy High School athletics compete within the Mission Valley Athletic League (MVAL) which is a part of the North Coast Section(NCS). All students participating in school sports must meet GPA requirements (see eligibility). Our school has been achieving amazing accomplishments in the past couple of years.  In the 2018-2019 school year, 10 of our sports programs qualified for the North Coast Section Playoffs.  Our badminton program won 1st place in NCS Division 2.  We had student-athletes compete in the state finals for track.  We also sent 7 student-athletes on to play at the next level in college.
