College Eligibility

What are Sport Publications?

Sport Publications are designed to recognize excellence in the preparation of Media Guides and Souvenir Programs that call attention to athletic teams at the secondary school level. It promotes the entry of any sport and these publications recognize the commitment of an athlete.

Publications available online:

 NCAA Clearinghouse Guide:  For the college-bound student-athlete. (Also the website for the NCAA Clearinghouse, the center for processing all student athletes seeking NCAA Division I and Division II college athletic eligibility.)

College Board:  College admission testing websites for athletes.  ACT and SAT information.

Financial Aid:  Clearinghouse for all federal loans and the determination of student eligibility for all federal student loans.

CIF: Student forms (eligibility). Parent handbooks I and II are available at website. Athletics school for 207 and 209 are available at the same website.  Copies can be downloaded forms the site or by contracting any school athletic director.

The Northcoast Section:  This website is our athletic governing body.  The section office website will provides information concerning the CIF ejection policies for those athletes and coaches who are disqualified from any CIF contest for inappropriate behavior; and, for academic or residence eligibility information.  The NCS uses CIF policies to determine eligibility questions.
