Hello Parkmont Community,
Last week, our PTA proudly sponsored the Parkmont Variety Show, and what an incredible event it was! Our talented Parkmont Panthers wowed the audience with their amazing performances.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Jaya Vikram for her dedication in organizing this special event. It truly was a community effort, made possible by the support of our wonderful parent volunteers, teachers, and staff. We deeply appreciate everyone who contributed, and a special shout-out to Mike Quinn for his expertise in setting up the sound system.
Most importantly, our biggest thanks go to our incredible students. It takes great courage to perform in front of an audience, and they rose to the occasion beautifully. Bravo to all our performers!
March is a busy month filled with exciting activities! One highlight is our Family Culture Night on Wednesday, March 19th—a fun-filled community event celebrating the diverse cultures within our school. We hope to see you there!
As we transition into spring, children may experience a mix of excitement, restlessness, and difficulty focusing. Here are a few tips to help them adjust:
-
Encourage Outdoor Play – Take advantage of the warmer weather with park visits, walks, and outdoor activities to help kids stay active.
-
Maintain Routines – Consistent bedtimes, homework schedules, and meal routines provide stability during seasonal changes.
-
Support Focus at School – If your child is struggling to concentrate, try breaking tasks into smaller steps and incorporating movement breaks.
-
Embrace Their Excitement – Allow kids to express their enthusiasm for spring and channel their energy into positive activities.
Spring is a wonderful time of year, and we’re all looking forward to longer days and more sunshine!
