Summer/Year-Round Programs, Internships, Volunteer & Work Opportunities

summerSummer is a great time to rest and recharge. If you are a rising high school junior or senior student, this is also the time to gain some skills and experience to write about in your college application essays or to prepare you for the workplace after graduation. Learn, join or build something centered around your authentic interest that helps or has a positive impact on others and allows you to demonstrate your character traits and practice skills such as resourcefulness, responsibility, perseverance, teamwork, initiative, creativity, etc.

Throughout the Bay Area, state, and nation, a wide variety of summer and year-round study and work opportunities are available to high school students. The links and file below have a sampling. Some of these programs may not be available every year. Appearance on this webpage does not constitute an endorsement of any kind by Washington High School. Inquire in the College and Career Center for more information or check out the various websites for the most up to date information.
