A couple highlights in getting a minor work permit:

  • Minors may only work at physical brick and mortar businesses (Ed Code 49163). Thus NO online/remote work is allowed.

  • All signatures  MUST be  wet signatures, no electronic/scanned signatures allowed

  •  Mission San Jose high school minor work permit policy:
    • Students must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA to obtain & keep a work permit, not be failing a class.
    • Student must have good attendance.
