Mission San Jose, American and Irvington High Schools Named to 2023 AP School Honor Roll

Congratulations to the Fremont Unified high schools named to the 2023 AP School Honor Roll! The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools based on their ability to increase their school’s college-going culture, to provide opportunities for students to earn college credit, and optimize college readiness. The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Mission San Jose High School: Platinum Recognition

  • Expanded college culture by enabling 91% of the Class of 2024 to experience 1 AP course before graduating.
  • Assisted with college affordability by enabling 88% of the Class of 2024 to earn college credit by earning an AP Exam score of 3.
  • Optimize student's college readiness by creating opportunities for 40% of the Class of 2024 to take a total of 5 APs across their high school years, with at least 1 taken in 9th or 10th grade.

American High School: Gold Recognition

  • Expanded college culture by enabling 70% of the Class of 2024 to experience 1 AP course before graduating.
  • Assisted with college affordability by enabling 63% of the Class of 2024 to earn college credit by earning an AP Exam score of 3.
  • Optimize student's college readiness by creating opportunities for 43% of the Class of 2024 to take a total of 5 APs across their high school years, with at least 1 taken in 9th or 10th grade.

Irvington High School: Gold Recognition

  • Expanded college culture by enabling 72% of the Class of 2024 to experience 1 AP course before graduating.
  • Assisted with college affordability by enabling 66% of the Class of 2024 to earn college credit by earning an AP Exam score of 3.
  • Optimize student's college readiness by creating opportunities for 24% of the Class of 2024 to take a total of 5 APs across their high school years, with at least 1 taken in 9th or 10th grade.
