👏  Thank You to Our Entire FUSD Community!
Students and families showed up ready for learning, creating a joyful WELCOME BACK ( photos ) led by our dedicated teachers. Behind the scenes, our staff worked tirelessly to ensure that over 32,000 students found their way to the right schools and classrooms. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the 2025–26 school year is off to a smooth start.

🌟 District Leadership Prioritizes School Visits to Build Understanding

District leaders have begun an inclusive schedule of visits to all 43 school sites. These visits include touring active classrooms, meeting with staff, and holding two-way question-and-answer sessions with students to strengthen connections and understanding. One of the first stops, at Warwick Elementary , underscored the value of these interactions and highlighted the bright future our students are building.

🎉  Celebrating Statewide Recognition for Student Support
For the 2024–25 school year, congratulations to our nine Fremont Unified schools that have been recognized for their successful implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). This framework’s approach helps create safe, positive, and welcoming environments where every student can learn and thrive.

📰 From the FUSD Archives, September 1966

This 59-year-old newspaper article  describes how FUSD created leadership ‘liaisons’ to stay connected with schools during a time of rapid growth. Some things change ( like the price of gas! ), but others remain just as important, such as the need for strong channels of communication.

🏫 Facility Use and Community Connections
Fremont Unified School District’s facilities are a community resource. We use an online facility request and rental system designed to provide a helpful experience. Here is the  facility use link.

🚩   Get Involved in FUSD
The Board of Education has reworked the committee structure to ensure diverse representation across all attendance areas and greater opportunities for parent and community involvement. Your voice matters in shaping the future of Fremont. Please consider   joining a committee .

🗨️ Please Share: Enrolling for 2025-2026
We are proud of our students and teachers and love celebrating recognitions across our outstanding district. The   best way to share opportunities at FUSD is through word of mouth, so if you know families with young children or who are new to town, please tell them about Fremont Unified.

Thank you for helping us spread the word.

Sincerely,
Zack Larsen, Superintendent
