Fremont Unified School District is proud to announce that Robertson High School has been recognized by Solution Tree as a Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) at Work®

Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) proudly announces that Robertson High School has been recognized by Solution Tree for its significant gains in student achievement. The school earned this distinction through its successful implementation of the Professional Learning Communities at Work® (PLC) framework, which has strengthened instructional practices and improved student outcomes.

This distinction places Robertson High School among approximately 600 schools and districts across the United States and Canada. It is also one of five high schools in California — and the only continuation high school in the United States — to earn this designation. The honor is awarded to institutions that demonstrate a strong, results-driven collaborative culture focused on continuous growth and academic excellence. Through its work with the PLC at Work® framework, Robertson High School has restructured systems and professional practices to ensure educators engage in meaningful, embedded professional learning designed to support every student’s success.

"I am so proud of our staff and students. This recognition speaks to the collective work of a community that is deeply committed to meeting students where they are, holding high expectations, and continually reflecting on how we can do better," said Principal Sheila Jemo.
