Glankler and Rix-Glankler Visit
FAMILY is built from the supportive PEOPLE surrounding each student. It begins with birth and chosen parents/guardians who lead and guide with love. It grows with caring teachers who nurture learning, and expands further with a community that encourages every step.
This strong sense of FAMILY shines at the Glankler and Rix-Glankler Early Learning Centers. District leadership was privileged to visit with our amazing Guppies last week and share in the joyful start of their school year.
Glankler and Rix-Glankler Early Learning Centers foster positive growth for preschoolers with exceptional needs. In addition to special day class programs, Glankler houses the SELPA’s Early Start Program for infants and toddlers with visual and/or hearing impairments, and inclusion classes with State Preschool at each site.
Principal Charlene Sim explained, “I am passionate about building relationships with the entire educational team. I have an uncompromising view that all students have the ability to learn given a positive educational atmosphere and play-based learning. Our team’s mission is to utilize your child’s strengths and interests to help shape your child’s continued learning experience.”
