Our Libraries are Foundational

Our libraries are foundational in helping students grow into independent learners. Libraries help develop reading skills and foster a love for reading. Students learn how to find, evaluate, and use information effectively an essential life skill.

certWe are proud to share that we have achieved a 100% completion rate for the Annual School Library Evaluation. This milestone is instrumental in helping us build a clear and comprehensive picture of library programming across our state. The 2023–24 and 2024–25 data collected is shared on the California Department of Education Statistics About California School Libraries.

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of so many. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all library staff, our District Librarian, supportive school site administrators, and especially to Wendey Mueller, our Library Media Systems Administrator, for her leadership and commitment. Your dedication truly makes a difference in the educational experiences of our students.
