Notice: Email Issues Update

Some delayed emails are being delivered now, though some messages have permanently failed and will not be delivered to users.

This issue was caused when Google migrated some servers, including those that hosted FUSD's email management. Our internet service is provided through the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE), and that service was blocking the new Google server addresses.

FUSD staff, Google, ACOE, and contractors worked to resolve this issue going forward, but again, some messages have permanently failed and will not be delivered to users. Please follow up on any important or time-sensitive emails to confirm delivery.

Some District email users are experiencing delays when sending and/or receiving email.

The District's Technology Department is working with Google support to resolve this issue now. We do not know if or when pending emails will be delivered.

Until this is resolved, please follow up on any important or time-sensitive matters by phone, or request that recipients confirm delivery of important email messages.

We will post updates to our website as we work toward a resolution, please check this page for updates on the current status of this issue.
