Parkmont Elementary School Visit
Parkmont sparkled with positivity during our panel interview with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students, whose genuine, and often fun responses truly stood out. When asked which adult they could go to if they felt worried, scared, or in need of help (a question we pose for all panels) students named counselors, teachers, the principal, yard-duty staff, office staff, and essentially any adult on campus. One student summed it up best: “All adults will help us at Parkmont.”
October 27, 2025: Principal Walt Lewis welcomed Trustees Larry Sweeney and Sharon Coco, Superintendent Zack Larsen, Director of Classified Personnel Trudy Parker, and Director of Elementary Education Johanna White (formerly a Parkmont principal) for a tour of active classrooms and meaningful student interactions. A big thank-you goes to the students, teachers and staff for supporting the visit. It was clear throughout our time on campus that Parkmont students feel seen, supported, and proud of their school.
Way to Go Panthers!
