Oliveira Ambassadors Council (OAC)

Oliveira's student Oliveira Ambassador Council (OAC) promotes and maintains school spirit, organizes student related activities, develops leadership skills, and supports other programs for all students at Oliveira Elementary School. OAC Membership is by teacher recommendation, and usually begins meeting in September. Advisors for 2024-2025 are Mr. Hahn and Mrs. Monkman. Meeting Days are listed below and on the Oliveira website calendar.

School Spirit Days End Of Year 2024

OAC has brainstormed and here are Spirit Days for the last days of school

Wednesday, May 22    Pattern Day:  Wear stripes or dots or plaid – OAC Buddies will come by to tally the patterns in your room

Thursday, May 23 Beach Day:  Wear tropical beach clothes: shorts, Hawaiian shirts, flower leis, etc.

Friday, May 24  Royalty & Fancy Dress Day:  Dress as a Lord or Lady, a King or Queen, a Prince or Princess, or just wear your favorite fancy clothes.

Tuesday, May 28  Multicultural Day:  Wear your favorite clothes that represent your heritage and culture.  Teachers may opt to have students perform a dance or talk about their culture in class.

Wednesday, May 29 Switcheroo Day:  Students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students.  This is a great day to wear your Oliveira Spirit wear from this year or year’s past.

Thursday, May 30  Career Day: dress for success in your future career.  Will you be a pilot, a counselor, a doctor, an engineer or and astronaut?

Friday, May 31 Only One You day..celebrate yourself and the “ocean” filled with all the Oliveira marine life.
