Meet the Principal

Principal – Mr. Harry Pabley

Hello Oliveira Community,

I hope you all have had a restful and fun summer break. My name is Harry Pabley and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Oliveira Elementary.  It is with great excitement, humility, and purpose that I step into this role, knowing I will be working alongside a team of dedicated, passionate, and talented educators and staff.

I come to Oliveira with over 25 years of experience in public education, having served as a classroom teacher, high school summer school principal, and most recently, as assistant principal at Horner Middle School. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to equity, student-centered learning, and fostering school environments where every child is known, supported, and inspired to thrive.

As your principal, my priorities will include building strong relationships with students, staff, and families; maintaining a safe and inclusive school culture; and supporting high-quality instruction through collaboration and continuous growth. I value transparency, teamwork, and a shared vision and I truly believe that the best outcomes for students come when we lead together.

In addition, I believe that strong parent partnerships are critical to the success of our school. As we move forward, I hope to strengthen communication and increase opportunities for families to participate in school events and volunteer efforts. Parents are our students’ first teachers, and when schools and families work together, everyone benefits. I welcome your ideas on how we can make parent involvement more meaningful and accessible to all.

Thank you for welcoming me into your school community. I am eager to work alongside each of you to make this a year full of learning, joy, and success for our students.

Have a wonderful school year!

Respectfully,
