Dear Fremont Unified Community,

I hope you and your loved ones enjoyed the break. I’m excited for the final weeks of 2023, which I know will be a busy time for our students, staff and families.

I look forward to welcoming our community to the Fremont Education Foundation’s Run 4 Education on Sunday, December 3 at Quarry Lakes. More information is below.

When to Keep Your Child Home from School or Child Care

Health Guidance

The California Department of Public Health released updated guidance on when a student should stay home from school, it is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and additional languages here. Please refer to this guidance when a student has symptoms of illness, including: cough, stuffy/runny nose, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, ear/eye irritation, and/or rash.

Mental Health Support

Fremont Unified partners with Care Solace to support students, staff or their family members who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, substance abuse, or other mental health conditions to navigate the mental health care system. 

Care Solace’s Connection professionals are available 24/7 in any language to assist in finding local mental health programs and counseling services.

FEF’s 16th Annual Run 4 Education

The Fremont Education Foundation (FEF) is hosting its Run 4 Education on Sunday, December 3 at Quarry Lakes in Fremont.

Fremont Unified elementary schools receive funds based on registrations, and proceeds support FEF’s mission to enhance educational excellence for all students and teachers in Fremont Unified!

2023-24 instructional calendar

Winter Break

All Fremont Unified schools and offices will be closed December 25 through January 5 for Winter Break.

School will resume on Monday, January 8, 2024.
