Dear Vallejo Mill Community,

Welcome back to another amazing school year! I am Ms. Martinez, the school counselor. I am excited to be able to meet and work with your students and families. I look forward to helping the students achieve their goals while learning useful academic and social skills.

My goal is to deliver a Comprehensive Counseling program which offers services to all students based on individual as well as community needs. The services will assist in the growth of social/ emotional well-being, address academic concerns, and encourage students to begin thinking about college and careers.

The types of counseling offered include brief individual counseling, small groups, classroom guidance lessons, and school-wide presentations. Additional resources and suggestions for referrals to outside agencies are also available through the administration, the school counselor, or the school psychologist.
