SURFBoardE Overview

Students United for Representation to the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education

SURFBoardE is a student group comprised of fifteen students from schools in the Fremont Unified School District. It includes three representatives from each high school, American, Irvington, Kennedy, Mission, and Washington as well as one representative from each middle school. The student group serves as a liaison between the 35,000 students of FUSD and the district's Board of Education. SURFBoardE meets two times a month to discuss student issues, plan the District Representative Conference (DRC), and most importantly as the student voice at the district level.

SURFBoardE applications are currently open for the 2022-2023 school year! If you are a current freshman, sophomore, or junior interested in proactively serving and improving Fremont Unified School District, apply by Monday, April 3rd at 11:59 pm to be your school’s SURFBoardE representative!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact your corresponding representative listed in the application.
