RFP 538-05-28-26 MISSION SAN JOSE HIGH SCHOOL NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Fremont Unified School District (“District”) is seeking prequalified design-build entities or design-build teams to submit competitive Proposals to design and construct the District’s Mission San Jose High School New Construction Project (“Project”), in accordance with Education Code section 17250.10 et seq. Only Respondents that have been prequalified by the District in response to the prior Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for the Project will be eligible to submit Proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (“RFP”).
Respondents must mail or deliver two (2) bound copies, one (1) unbound copy, and one (1) electronic copy (on USB stick) of the Proposal conforming to the requirements of this RFP to:

ALL PROPOSALS ARE DUE BY 2:00 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 2026 TUESDAY, JULY 21, 2026 (per Addendum #1). Oral, telegraphic, facsimile, telephone, or email Proposals will not be accepted. Proposals received after this date and time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities and omissions in any Proposal, and to make all final determinations. The District also reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals and to negotiate contract terms with one or more Respondents.
A mandatory informational meeting and site walk will be conducted on June 9, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, at 41717 Palm Ave. Fremont, CA 94539.

Notice is hereby given that the governing board of the Fremont Unified School District will receive sealed bids for the construction of a new central kitchen facility at the District's Corporation Yard, including building, site work, utilities, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s):
- Bid Package A, General Trades - B license required
- Bid Package B, Earthwork and Paving Trades - A or C-12 license required
- Bid Package C, Underground Utilities Trades - A or C-34 license required
- Bid Package E, Electrical & Low Voltage Trades - C-10 license required
- Bid Package F, Plumbing Trades - C-36 license required
- Bid Package G, Fire Protection Trades - C-16 license required
- Bid Package H, Landscape Trades - C-27 license required
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 9, 2026 at 10:00AM and June 11, 2026 at 10:00AM at 43772 S. Grimmer Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536.

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
Each Submittal must conform and be responsive to the requirements set forth in BID/RFQ/RFP/RFI
Late Submittals Will Not Be Accepted or Considered
The District reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. The District makes no representation that participation in the RFP process will lead to an award of contract or any consideration whatsoever. In no event will the District be responsible for the cost of preparing a response to this RFP. The District also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received submittals. The District reserves the right to change the dates on the schedule without prior notice. All Respondents will be responsible for obtaining any addendums or revisions to the project which will be posted in the same manner as the RFP documents.
