BID No. 535-04-07-26 NEW CENTRAL KITCHEN

Notice is hereby given that the governing board of the Fremont Unified School District will receive sealed bids for the construction of a new central kitchen facility at the District's Corporation Yard, including building, site work, utilities, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s):

  • Bid Package A, General Trades - B license required
  • Bid Package B, Earthwork and Paving Trades - A or C-12 license required
  • Bid Package C, Underground Utilities Trades - A or C-34 license required
  • Bid Package E, Electrical & Low Voltage Trades - C-10 license required
  • Bid Package F, Plumbing Trades - C-36 license required
  • Bid Package G, Fire Protection Trades - C-16 license required
  • Bid Package H, Landscape Trades - C-27 license required

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 9, 2026 at 10:00AM and June 11, 2026 at 10:00AM at 43772 S. Grimmer Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536.

All sealed bids will be received until 2:00PM on July 14, 2026 at the address below:

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.

Late Submittals Will Not Be Accepted or Considered

The District reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. The District makes no representation that participation in the RFP process will lead to an award of contract or any consideration whatsoever. In no event will the District be responsible for the cost of preparing a response to this RFP. The District also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received submittals. The District reserves the right to change the dates on the schedule without prior notice. All Respondents will be responsible for obtaining any addendums or revisions to the project which will be posted in the same manner as the RFP documents.
