Transportation Lost & Found

If your student's item was left behind on an AC Transit bus (621, 623, 624, 625, or 641), you will need to contact AC Transit directly using their online form or by calling 510-891-4777.

The information provided below applies to Fremont Unified School District vehicles (yellow school buses or District vans) only:

Many items are left on school buses each day. With this in mind, the Transportation Department recommends writing student’s names on easily lost items, such as jackets, lunch bags, umbrellas, etc. Items left on a school bus are turned in to the Transportation Department office and are held for up to one month. Unclaimed items are donated or thrown away.

In the event that a personal item is left behind on the bus, please either fill out the Lost & Found Form (link below) or call the Transportation Department with a detailed description of the item (such as color, size, brand, etc.) so staff may check the lost and found.
