Young Authors’ Contest

The Young Authors’ Contest is open to students (TK through Grade 5) of FUSD. The Young Authors' book is to be a creative short story. It may be based on facts but must include imaginative elements. The goal is to give encouragement and recognition to student achievement in creative writing.

Participating schools conduct individual Young Authors’ contests featuring original books written by their students. Teachers at each site judge the entries and then select winners at each grade level.
