Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)

ELO-P General Information

The California Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) provides funding for before school, after school, summer and intersession learning programs for transitional kindergarten through 5th grade in FUSD. All FUSD elementary schools have a community partner program to provide extended day care (before and after school) and enrichment programs for enrolled ELO-P students in a school year.

Eligibility for Programs

Students who are designated in one or more specific categories (English learners, foster youth, homeless students, migrant students, and students who are free or reduced-price meal eligible under the National School Lunch Program) are eligible for ELO-P. Students are eligible to participate at approved locations at no cost.

ELO-P Applications

ELO-P eligibility is granted for one school year, parent(s)/ guardian(s) must apply ELO-P each year. If you would like to apply for the no-cost care, please submit the application as below.
