Perkins V Pathways
Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) is a federal act established to improve career technical education (CTE) programs, integrate academic and career-technical instruction, serve special populations, and meet gender equity needs.
Perkins grant funding supports participating CTE pathways, which as of 2023-2024 include:
- Mission San Jose High School
- Marketing, Sales, and Service
- Irvington High School (named a 2023-24 PLTW Distinguished High School)
- Hospitality Tourism
- Engineering and Architecture
- Health Science Occupations
- Arts, Media, and Entertainment
- Washington High School
- Arts, Media, and Entertainment (Digital Imaging)
- Arts, Media, and Entertainment (Digital Video Production)
- Arts, Media, and Entertainment (Visual Art)
- Business and Finance
- Marketing, Sales, and Service
- Horner Middle School
- Engineering and Architecture
- Centerville Middle School
