Classroom Interruption Policy

All Fremont Schools have a policy regarding classroom interruptions.  Our classrooms are not to be interrupted during instructional time.  Please talk to your children about forgotten lunches, homework, instruments, etc.  Let them know to check the office first during their recess or lunch break.  We have a procedure in place for forgotten lunches and other items.  A lunch drop-off table is located outside the office across the "lost and found" where parents can leave their child's lunch or water bottle.  Students may check for them there and pick up during their breaks.  If they don't have a lunch, they may get a free lunch from the cafeteria.  We never knowingly allow a child to go without lunch.  Let your child know to tell an adult if they find themselves in such a situation.

Because of the high volume of work, interaction with the public, sick/injured students, our staff is being impacted and cannot guarantee a message will be personally delivered to a student. It is for this reason that it is imperative that parents make arrangements for pickup or childcare before children head off to school in the morning.  We realize emergencies do come up, and we will make every effort possible to respect your requests in such instances.  Thank you for your cooperation in helping us to maintain an interruption free classroom learning environment.
