MSJHS Class of 1969's 50th class reunion

We looked at MANY venues and even though Monterey would have been a great location, ticket prices would have been substantially more. The vote we conducted was pretty much a 50/50 split. Sacramento was the fiscally responsible thing to do. Your ticket price is yet to be determined.
If you plan on staying overnight in one of Embassy Suites' guestrooms, your room price will include a reception from 5:00-7:00 and breakfast the next day. Room rates are $219 for a King and $209 for two doubles. Let them know the event you are attending to get this price. (These are current 2018 prices. They could go up in 2019. Book early.)
We are going to see how many class of '69 members buy tickets before we open it up to other classes. We will post ticket prices and how to go about buying them once we have all the numbers worked out. We have to provide a deposit by December 1st.
Class of '69 should be proud of the committee for their commitment to this event and all the work that has already gone into this. It took 4 months to just research and settle on a venue!

We are happy to have anyone else who is interested join the committee. We are also happy to hear any ideas for things you would like to see at the reunion. We are hopeful that everyone will recognize the important thing is reconnecting with old friends and making new friends, not where the venue is located. If we do not have 100 people who have purchased tickets by May 1st, we will open it up to other classes because we have guaranteed the hotel that number.
