Donate to MSJHS Library!

We currently have a great need for new color pencils, color markers, and tape dispensers and scotch tape! We do not have funding for these items. Thank you for your support!

Lost or damaged a library book?

Lost or damaged a library book? See a librarian for a bill showing the replacement cost then click on the My School Bucks logo to pay. Choose Library from the drop down menu and type in the field below it the reason for payment. Print your confirmation and bring it to a librarian to clear the fine. We cannot clear fines if you did not select the Library as the recipient. Unspecified funds will go to the school at large as a donation.

Our library operates on funding- earmarked for books only- of less than $2.00 per student per year. Your financial donations provide our students with newly released books and help to bring our nonfiction collection up to date as well as providing us with the funds to purchase the materials we need to create displays, repair books and equipment, and replace worn out furnishings. We also greatly appreciate donations of supplies such as tissue, tape, glue sticks, color pencils and markers, paper rolls, colored paper, sticky notes, and staples as we do not receive district funding for these items.

If you would like to donate books, please check with a MSJHS librarian before purchasing or dropping off at the school to make sure the book meets FUSD standards. All donated books must be written for the age group of the school being donated to. For example, books donated to MSJHS must be written for teens between the ages of 14 and 18. Books not already in FUSD's system must have a starred review from an approved, professional source stating their suggested age group for the book (please see a librarian for a list) or go through a review process that can take up to a year to complete. Going through our book review process does not guarantee that your book will make it into our school library collection. Donated books should be in excellent or new condition and should have been published within the past ten years.
