Home Hospital Instruction

This form of instruction is for temporary disability and is meant to be an alternative educational program without special interventions. If your student in on home hospital instruction (HHI) and is registered for a science course, then your student must meet the minimal lab requirements for Subject Area D. This is true for all students registered for a lab course (with or without IEP or 504) and must meet the lab credit in order to receive a letter grade (not pass/fail) in their transcript

As part of HHI, in case the student is unable to perform wet labs at home then your home hospital instructor may assign an alternative lab assignment, including virtual lab assignments. Regardless of the form of assessment, your home hospital instructor will grade all their alternate assignments with rubrics that commensurate with the course level. Please contact students services for more up-to-date information on HHI.
