MUSIC CONCERT TO BE HELD FRIDAY EVENING
On Friday night, May 18 (1928), the combined orchestras of all the grammar schools and the high school will give their initial public concert in the high school auditorium.
The members of these orchestras have been practicing together once a week for two months or more, and the concert will undoubtedly be a success.
Beside the selections from the orchestra different solos and community singing will feature the affair.
All students are invited to attend and bring their parents and friends.
The concert will last from 8:00 o'clock to almost 9:30, and is free to all.
Orchestras have been inspiring students in our community for a century, nurturing creativity and a love of music. From the Washington Township Schools performing before the City of Fremont was even formed, to the vibrant ensembles we see today, music education continues to shape our district's talented young minds. A special congratulations to the Advanced Orchestra at Hopkins who have been invited to perform at an important convention in Sacramento this coming January 2026! Your dedication and skill honor a tradition that spans generations. 👏
