Requirements:
All coaches must meet California Education Title V Guidelines.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Fundamentals of Coaching - Online classes at nfhslearn.com
- Concussion in Sports Certificates - Online classes at nfhslearn.com
- Heat Illness Prevention - Online classes at nfhslearn.com
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate - Online class at nfhslearn.com
- AACCA Spirit Safety Certification – Cheer Coaches ONLY (nfhslearn.com/courses)
- Safety Training for Swim Coaches Certification -Â Swim and Water Polo Coaches ONLYÂ (Offered through the American Red Cross)Â Â
As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont Unified School District.
