Speech Info and Team
Hello Parents and welcome to Glankler,
Speech and language services will be provided for your child. Speech and Language Specialists will be working closely with the classroom teachers and staff in order to best meet your child’s needs. They will follow the classroom curriculum for language with theme related activities. Reading stories, singing along to music, and enjoying other fun activities to learn the related vocabulary and language concepts for the month. Please check your child’s backpack for art projects and handouts and use them as a tool to talk with your child about what they did at school.

Courtney Lynn Caviggia
About Cavigga: I have a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from San Jose State University. I am licensed nationally by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), the California State Board, and hold a California Teacher Commission Credential. I have received training and continuing education in areas such as behavior management, simple sign language, SCERTS, AAC, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), and the Hanen Center's More Than Words Training (parent education program for working with and training parents of children between the age of 0-5 years of age with Autism to implement therapy techniques within the home environment).
I believe strongly in communicating and collaborating with all team members involved in the child’s progress, both within the school district and service providers outside of the district. I especially believe that parents and caregivers are the most important team members in a child's life and are a huge part of their child's progress.
