Principal’s Message

Hello Warm Springs Community,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Warm Springs Elementary School! We are excited to embark on this journey together and look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences.

My name is Scott Iwata, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Warm Springs for my 13th year. My wife, Emily, is a 3rd grade teacher within FUSD, and we have three boys, ages 15, 13, and 11, who all attend FUSD schools. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated team of educators and staff are passionate about providing a high-quality education that supports the diverse needs and interests of all our students.

At Warm Springs, we believe in fostering a strong partnership between school and home. We encourage open communication and collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and guardians to ensure the success of each student. Together, we can create a supportive community that empowers our students to reach their full potential.

Throughout the school year, you can expect a variety of engaging learning opportunities, extracurricular activities, and events that promote well-rounded development. We are committed to helping students discover their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate positive character traits. We are especially excited now to have a full time science specialist on site that will be providing science lab experiences, to all students, throughout the year.

Please take some time to explore our website for important information about upcoming events, school policies, and resources. Additionally, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. Our door is always open, and we value your input and feedback.

I am eagerly looking forward to meeting each of you, getting to know our new students and families, and seeing familiar faces. Together, we can make this school year a successful and enriching experience for everyone involved.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. This year's theme will be Responsibility. Please look for ways to practice "Responsibility" with your family and throughout the school year here at Warm Springs!

Go Wolves!

In partnership,
